Remnants

Drops are inventory, not clutter.

Cut a sheet, tag what's left. Every offcut goes back on the books as real, searchable stock — with its heat and PO carried forward so the paper trail never breaks.

  • Scan-to-copy entry. Scan the parent tag and the new drop pre-fills its material, PO, and heat number. Type the size, print the label, done.
  • Odd shapes handled. Rectangular drops take two numbers. Irregular ones get a crude sketch tool — tap the outline, enter edge lengths, exact area and weight are calculated for you.
  • Nesting sees everything. Programmers search available drops by minimum usable size and reserve them against a job — so remnants get used before a fresh sheet gets opened.
